XKL-WMKK >> WMKK 32R >> WMKA 04

As if I went to KLIA using KL City Air Terminal. No I didn’t.
Let us begin with several jargon busters.
XKL is a short code assigned by IATA for KL Sentral City Air Terminal. Currently, passengers of Malaysian Airlines and several other airlines can check-in at KL Sentral and proceed to KLIA Main Terminal using Express Rail Link (ERL) high speed train and directly go to KLIA Boading gate.
WMKK is a short code assigned by ICAO for KL International Airport. The IATA code for WMKK is KUL.
32R is one of the two runways at KLIA, which 32R means heading 320 degrees and the runway is the right one (of two parallel runways).
WMKA is a short code assigned by ICAO for Sultan Abdul Halim Airport (Alor Setar, Kedah). The IATA code for WMKA is AOR.
04 means the there is only a single runway at the airport.
I wrote part of this post using AOR’s free WiFi. You don’t have to click anything in order to use its WiFi. Connect to the unsecured network and you are ready to go. ISP: Telekom Malaysia.
I wanted to write more actually but my parents have arrived when I finished my jargon-buster.
That’s all for now, thanks for reading.
